Today I had another round of Lidocaine epidurals in my back and new pain killers prescribed. I'm starting a new yoga regime as well. I'm hoping this will keep me out of bed -- right now I'm spending half my week in bed. Stay tuned -- if all goes well tomorrow, I'll start posting the book reviews and giveaways.
I've missed you all!
I hope the new treatment works for you! I feel for you, I know what my dad has gone through with his back problems. ((Hugs))
ReplyDeleteI've missed you too! I hope your new meds and the yoga help you. I can't imagine staying in bed half the week!
ReplyDeleteTake care!
We'Ve missed you too Lori! I hope the yoga helps you. I am meaning to turn over a new yoga leaf too, I know it is such a positive thing to have in your life and I am the least flexible person you'll ever meet, and getting worse with every year! Love the little box pendant on that piece - GORGEOUS.
ReplyDeleteI reallyreallyreally hope this works and that you're feeling better SOON.
ReplyDeleteI've just discovered this author and his books on pain, specifically back pain. Thought you might be interested. I'm reading one of his books now. http://www.amazon.com/John-E.-Sarno/e/B001IOBML8/ref=ntt_athr_dp_pel_1
ReplyDeleteSO sorry you're going through the pain and inability to do what you love. Knowing others that have suffered I know this is serious. My hubby had great luck, after years of back pain, with physical therapy. Interestingly it sounded like he was doing pilates and yoga!
ReplyDeleteTake care and look forward to hearing more soon.
I know the feeling all too well. I pray that you can find means of comfort and strength to endure.
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon, we miss you.
ReplyDeleteI get so sick of pain too. Back pain is so bad. Hope things start turning around for you and don't forget the ice!
ReplyDeleteHang in there!
ReplyDeleteThinking of you often.
Hope something works for you! You're far too vital to spend your days in constant pain. Too much living to do!
ReplyDeleteTake care and best wishes.
I did not know you have this problem.I sincerely hope that soon you will get better and be pain free.
ReplyDeleteOh, Lori. I hope they work. I went through three epidurals (plus one to undo one that gave me a blinding headache -- and I never get headaches). Unfortunately, the only one that took away the pain was the one that gave me the headache. Nice trade-off, right? The pain mgmt doctor said my only option is surgery. What a pain (literally and figuratively!). Hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteHope everything goes well for you Lori...will be praying for healing!
ReplyDeleteYou're missed! And in my thoughts and prayers for renewed health and healing.
ReplyDeleteHoping this helps! Be good to you.
ReplyDeleteI am sending all the love and healing thoughts I can your way!!!
ReplyDeleteWe all miss you too Lori! I hope you're feeling better soon and I continue to send lots of love and light for you :)
ReplyDeleteYou're definitely one up on me; I've been meaning to start a yoga regimen for a LONG time now!
Lori, Hang in there! I hope you get better soon. Hopefully between the pain killers and the yoga, you'll feel much better.
ReplyDeleteI'm keepimg my fingers crossed (and Rufus is keeping his paws crossed too!) the new pain meds work :-)
