I have always missed my blogoversary, and you would think someone who loves to blog as much as I do would be right on top of that. It slipped past me yet again but I'm close enough!

I've written 1,543 posts since June 1st, 2005.
I didn't start getting regular comments until about January, 2009.
My pictures have improved since 2005 rather dramatically.
(I used to scan my jewelry photos, for instance).
In reading back over the years,
I've seen posts that made me cringe
and posts that made me laugh
and posts that I was surprised I could write.
I still have the same hopes and fears now
that I had years ago.
Hmm. Interesting. Must work on that.
And finally, Zack has seriously become
I'm grateful to blogging for giving me a creative outlet. I'm also thankful that it's introduced me to some very awesome people. Opening my heart, my home, my thoughts, my world all happens here. Good, bad, ugly, or gobsmacking-awesome -- it's probably going to end up here.
So thank you all for reading, taking me up to 1800+ readers as of today -- something that boggles my mind.

I think if I counted and combined all my blog posts from all the different blogs, I might hit 200... maybe 250... lol your total and your dedication to writing inspires and humbles me... as a woman who wants to write, I need to follow your example and WRITE lol

ReplyDelete8 years! Wow, that a lot. I've often wondered if there is a point in time that can be defined as the exact moment when we as bloggers embrace our blogs as part of our identity and it becomes an integral part of our life.
