Yesterday I made lampwork beads using new techniques.
I knew none of them would be usable,
but it was incredibly satisfying to know I was on my way.
I think this is so important.
I'm amazed at how my son knows to do all of these things,
yet so many adults could use a refresher course.
You know....
sometimes we all need a day off to do
absolutely nothing at all
and the freedom of mind to enjoy it immensely.
I have to tell you...
I'm not always very good at the words bit.
But I would like to think
I'm decent at heart-felt apologies.
I love this.
It helps to remember this
when I step on the scale
and see it moving downwards
way. too. slowly.
(But at least it's moving in the right direction!)
'nuff said.
Hug your loved ones
and have a beautiful day!

ReplyDeleteYou're right about taking a day to do absolutely nothing! Not that I'm very good at this, mind you -- my relaxation activities very, very closely resemble my work ones. ;)
