Etsy Finds -- The "I Have a Cold" Edition

I have a summer cold and I'm not too happy about it.  But I'll try not to sneeze on you and this post is 100% germ free.

Today I'm going to do a quick post of Etsy finds.  I think you'll enjoy it.  Then I'm going to bed with Sir Nyquil and his Knights of the Round Table, Oranges All Juiced Up.

Nose ring from KR Design

Along with the pink hair I finally got the nerve for, I've always thought a nose ring would be cool.  However, I think you have to have a lovely face (like this girl) or a sincere sense of bravery that I do not possess.  Having pierced my belly button many, many moons ago, I know my threshold for pain and it is small.  Tiny.  Miniscule.  And I've always wondered how one dealt with a head cold with a nose ring.

But I can dream.

Owl tissue holder by Dainty Blooms

I'm a sucker for owls.  I remember my dad pouring owl candles in the basement when I was a little kid and am glad to see them making a come back.  Of course, when I get around to stopping my jealous hoarding of owl beads, the trend will be over.  But this tissue holder -- yeah, I could use one or ten today.

Kimono tea pot by OC Pottery

Is this not the prettiest tea pot?  And tea is supposed to be JUST the thing for a cold.  Who wants to make me some?  I have Tupelo honey, even.

Quilt made with Amy Butler fabric by LMK Quilts

I want this so badly I could cry.  Exactly my colors, and I adore quilts.  And I adore Amy Butler fabric.  I have handbags made with her fabric, but this quilt?  I'm seriously crushing on it.

OK then.  Please visit these wonderful Etsians, explore their shops, and give them some love.  Me?  I'm off to bed and will be back tomorrow.

'scuse me.

  1. Oh Oh Lori get well soon If I were close I would bring chicken soup.!!
That tea pot reminds me of the first dishes we had when we got married. Only I didn't have the tea pot. Mine was West Coast Pottery Company from California Oh my that was such a long time ago 55 years to be exact Be Blessed to be a blessing and get well quick

  2. Hope you are feeling better, soon! And, that quilt is AWESOME!

  3. Hope you're feeling better, Lori!
That Amy Butler quilt is sooooo gorgeous, love it!!

  4. Hi Lori, So sorry to hear about your cold! I just recovered from a similar annoyance, it seemed to take forever, but you're taking good care of yourself, and most of all, you weren't sick for the Bead Show! Get well soon!

I didn't know Amy Butler so I checked her bags collection and I simply said "Wow". Thanks for introducing me to her, even if now I have a new need.

    Get well soon,

  6. Hope you're healing quickly. Those are all lovely finds. My great grandmother was really into owls and had a large owl collection. We used to color owls in an owl coloring book together. The owl trend definitely reminds me of her far more frequently than before it started.

  7. Hope you're feeling better soon and I've got to say - LOVE the pink hair but please... no nose ring :) ~~T

  8. Hope you're better!! I hate summer colds. As for a nose ring and a cold...you deal with it like you normally would. I love my nose ring but I have a tiny ab crystal stud. As for the pain...if it's done right it really isn't bad at all.

    Take care,

  9. I would love to make you some tea, especially in that teapot. I am so in love.
