Calling All Knitters!

I recently met knitter extraordinaire Margaret Nock at a coffee shop here in my town.  I "met" her on CreatingTheHive.com and we found out we both lived near each other and made plans to meet in person.

Margaret is not only an avid knitter but a published author!  She's written two knitting books:

You can also get her books on Kindle!  Getting them on your Kindle is cool because you can tweak the font up or down as much as you like.

I love the "Knitavian" book -- here are just two of the projects you'll find in the pages....

If you're a knitter or know one and need to get a great, affordable Christmas gift, check out Margaret's Etsy shop:  margknittinaround. You'll find signed copies of her books, kits, knit patterns, hand knit and crochet items, and she'll even take special orders.

On her web site knit1fortheroad.com, you'll find FREE knit patterns, knitting resources and fun links.

I hope you'll take a look, and tell her Lori says "hi"!

Lori Anderson creates jewelry for her web site, Lori Anderson Designs, and writes the blog An Artist's Year Off.  She's also a contributor to Art Bead Scene.

  1. Thank you Lori for your kind words and enthusiasm. You're super! Keep creating your beautiful jewelry. So glad that we met- yay Hive!

  2. Well if I DID knit, I would sure pick up her book! :-) How cool to meet someone nearby that shares a similar passion.

  3. Unfortunately knitting is not one of my few talents - but the pieces here are great to look at :-)

  4. OH I am so checking this out! I knit a little but this will be fun!

  5. Thanks for the post about Margaret Nock. I love the handbag.

I appreciate comments! Thank you for contributing to the conversation.
