You have got to be kidding me.

How can I have MRSA for a THIRD time?

Official answer from ER doctor: some people just are susceptible. I am apparently one of those.

I am not happy. At least this time I'm not in the hospital (yet, please cross fingers and say prayers) and can feel miserable at home.

Carry on.

Are you serious?!?!?!? How did that happen?

  2. I am apparently just one of those people who it attacks. Everyone carries it, pretty much, but it doesn't affect everyone. How lucky for me.

  3. Yikes - feel better soon! :)

My Grandmother had MRSA... most of the hospital ward she was in had it.

I hope you feel better soon. Take care.

  5. Feel better soon Lori!

  6. Take good care of yourself!

And let me know how the lego table turns out if you make one. It's really important to attach the base plates to each other with lego blocks before sticking the plates on the table surface, if you just butt the plates up against each other, the lines of bumps are too close and you can't attach a block across the join. It's hard to explain, but you'll know what I mean if you do it.

    HOpe you feel better soon.

  7. Thanks for the tip, Alison -- I would have missed that!

Thanks to EVERYONE for your good wishes. I'm feeling much better today, out of bed, and will be going to Johns Hopkins on the 18th for an appt with an infectious disease specialist -- I hope they can help this keep from recurring.

  8. Oh my goodness Lori. Take care of yourself and I will be sending energy your way to help with your healing.
