This is true, right?

Wondering if this is true.

Probably IS true if I *want* it to be true.

Either way, the future happens whether I fight it or not.

So I'm going to enjoy the ride

with an open mind.

Since I've had my heart surgery I have a different outlook on my life. I have this virtual remote now. When my mind gets clogged with negativity I will just change that channel to what I want it to be. Positive thoughts generate a positive life. I'm a believer now. :)

I am with you on this, Lori, and it takes a LOT of past to get to this thought and have it make any real sense.
Love you, Lori

I've been away from a computer for a bit now, but I had to see what you have been up to the moment I had decent internet again. You never fail to make me laugh, say out loud things like "right on!" or encourage me to think about the more important things in life. Thanks for doing what you do and posting your thoughts and experiences. I just got a much-needed afternoon pick me up!

I soooo agree with this. An open mind backed up by Positive Thought will get us where we need to go!!!

Definitely TRUE!!! I am sometimes amazed at how some of the 'most wonderful' days unfold....and usually when we least expect them!

I certainly hope it's true :). It would be very sad if the opposite was true.

Thinking w/an open heart - how awesome is that?! Yes, some of your best days are still ahead!

That's all you can do Lori! Just wake up and treat each day like it's going to be a good one :)

Yes I believe it's true.

Every day we learn more, understand new things, get new "aha" moments and they all combine to allow us to see the world differently. And we get better days.
In all my life I have held on to the belief that how it is today is not how it always will be, nor how it has to be. Our lives are not static... there is an ebb and flow and there will always be good things to come. Always.

Absolutely, it just has to get better and better! Stay positive, there is always something however small every day that makes a positive difference to our lives.

Lori I love all your positive encouragement. This is definitely true. When we stop believing life has more to hold we are on the way out.

Thanx for your positive push forward for all of us. When you stop seeing better days ahead you are on the way out.

Yes. I don't even think any more that we have to believe for good to come... it wants to come! And if a belief is a thought we keep thinking, then it gets as simple as looking for reasons to appreciate, or thoughts that feel like relief. Then, we're downstream.

Downstream is where all the good stuff is. Like playing "now your getting hotter..warmer, warmer oops now your cold" I think our emotions are the key.

And like Jean said, it took life to get me to that point, crying out why??? I got my answer & realized it was me all along. Now the better it gets the better it gets. Even the death of a child can't take away my bliss, my choice to see the beauty and the joy & to laugh ... all is well, I learned, it really is.

Oh Lori, I have been reading all of your posts and my prayers are going out to you! Staying positive, keeping faith and having hope are all so important. Your mind is so, so powerful! I wrote in another comment about the book I just finished reading "Clean". It talks about ridding our body of toxins that we have accumulated. People that do this for 3 weeks are suddenly pain free and feeling better than they EVER have! If you go to Amazon and bring up the book, you can read the preview. I sure hope I can offer you some hope! Big, big hugs!!!!
