'No, no, no. Not THAT kind -- what were you thinking? :-)
I live on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, and Maryland is famous for its crabs, so it would just make sense that the Easter Bunny would make deliveries of not only eggs, but crabs.
I've written twice (here, and here) about this lovely gentleman in St. Michaels, MD, who celebrates holidays with these amazing displays that literally stop traffic. Cars pull over, cameras come out, the newspaper writes about him -- it's awesome.
When I pulled over to take photos of the Easter fun, I had the incredible pleasure of meeting the man behind the creativity. He was so personable and fun and I was thrilled to meet him.
So here we go on our Spring Journey!
Greeted by the "first sign of spring" (ha ha, get it?)
I don't know how you think the Easter Bunny delivers all his goodies, but unlike Santa, he doesn't have a sleigh and reindeer to help him out, and hopping is bad for the knees. THIS bunny couple has a jeep and a boat! Let's take a closer look, shall we?
I told you he had crabs.
And of course, Maryland Easter Crabs have to be dyed, just liked eggs. Don't worry, it doesn't harm them -- it's like a spa treatment. You can trust the bunny on that.
Love the pink one -- he matches my hair!
His driver is a cheerful chap, and check out those flowers on the wheels and the clever license plate! I'm also partial to the flower painted on the side of the jeep. And how about those eggs?
And since the jeep didn't come equipped with a stereo (budget cuts, you know), the bunnies brought along their own live chorus.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
