Barbara Lewis' Give Away -- Enamel eCourse

Barbara Lewis is giving away one of her Torch Fire Enameling eCourses!  If you've always wanted to try torch-fire enameling but were afraid to try, let me tell you, it's not that hard.  Unless you're like me, and tend to pick up beads that have fallen off your mandrel and you know good and DARNED well they're hot as Hades but no, you touch them anyway because perhaps the laws of physics and chemistry don't apply to you.

ANYWAY!  Click here to enter now!

And don't forget to visit my "you supply the caption" contest for a mystery prize.  I'll announce winners on Friday afternoon.

Thanks!

It's something that I would love to learn.. but do not dare try lol I'm dangerous enough playing with sharp things..I'd best not add fire to the menu ;) lol I played with torches and metal back in school for a shop class where I made my own scrolled metal brackets for a shelf.. turned out pretty decent too.. but yes, I dropped the one piece and picked it up >.< You're not alone in the 'doing things you know you really shouldn't do' department. I play with hot metal at work all the time too and have numerous now faded burn scars and the memories of them to ensure you, it's not just a fluke ;) lol

I'd love to learn enameling...but I better not pile anything else on my plate at the moment. I hear ya on picking up "torched" metal...I did it just the other day after torch firing copper clay, because I too am brilliant like that! :)

LOL, I just did that (picking up a bead that had broke and fallen on the floor, all the time knowing it wasn't a smart thing to do. ) Ended up blisters on three fingers, but saved the floor. :)

We really had fun in Barbara's class, didn't we? It was packed with so many of our friends - many we met for the first time that day. And that was a couple years ago now!
