^^ Snail Mail Giveaway -- Flocked Cards by Rational Designs ^^

Remember this post, about how we used to send letters and cards but now we do almost everything by email?  Well, Rational Designs of Etsy has donated the gorgeous cards I featured for a lucky winner!

I also wanted to share this cute little snail I got in the mail from Createology.  After that post, she sent me LITERAL snail mail.  She made this... isn't it the most adorable thing?  A snail?  In the mail?

So here's the deal.

Please visit Rational Designs Etsy store by clicking here
(let's pass some thanks to her!)

Make a comment and be sure to leave me a way to contact you
if you don't have email on your profile on your blog.

And promise me you'll write to someone
you haven't talked to in a while.

  2. Lovely note cards! They remind me of Sunday lunch at my aunt's house. She had flocked wallpaper, first an olive green color, and later a lovely white. As a kid, the idea of flocked wallpaper was fun--but mom wouldn't let us touch it.

And that snail in the mail is so clever!!!

  10. That 'mail snail' is absolutely adorable! lol

What beautiful cards! My beading partner shay commented that she loved the letter I sent with my soup and that she never receives letters in the post anymore, so I told her I'd keep her addie and drop her the odd note :) I just sent off a card to a friend down in Texas, too :) The art of snail mailing isn't dead.. just... hibernating lol

  14. What a cute snail. Her Black currant floral notecard set is to die for.
I love writing cards and sending them to friends and family. It's about time to send a card to both my boys who are volunteering in New York, plus my daughter in law who just lost her grandfather. So I may be getting cards to send. :)

  15. Great idea, Lori. I still send birthday cards but rarely sit down to write a letter, although there are a couple of people to whom I should be writing. Thanks for prodding me to get busy doing that!!

  29. I love the flocked cards. I like to sit and write out a note in the winter months to firends i dont see often. We keep in contact on email but there nothing like opening the mail and finding a hand written note that someone has taken the extra steps to send in the Snail mail.
