Seed Bead Giveaway from Auntie's Beads

Wednesday, March 16, 2011

I'm rising from the depths of a Nyquil-induced haze to bring you a giveaway from Auntie's Beads!  Filling my paint palette are dollops of seed beads in various sizes in a glamorous colorway -- glimmering silver-lined seed beads to hematite-toned to jet black.

Easy to enter -- just leave a comment (make sure you have a way for me to contact you!) and for an extra entry, blog about it!

Deadline is March 31st
and the winner will be picked out of a bowl....

by this aspiring artist.

Good luck!

Lori Anderson creates jewelry for her web site, Lori Anderson Designs, and wrote the blog An Artist's Year Off.  She's also a contributor to Art Bead Scene.

I posted your giveaway on both of my blogs. My jewelry blog only has 3 followers (hopefully soon will have some more). My other blog, Color My World (www.lisa-colormyworld.blogspot.com), has more that would see this opportunity. Email address is jewelrybylhamilton@yahoo.com. Thanks again for the giveaway!

I was looking at something (I can't even remember what) and stumbled upon the Bead Soup project. WOW! It was awesome! I would love to participate in the next one, even though my blog has mostly been about gardening and food, but I don't post as often as I should, I think. I am enjoying reading several of the blogs, and I will tell you that if anyone posted their etsy.com store, I looked at that, too. It was very inspiring. I have also made a few purchases. I had no idea there was a community of beaders out there. Knitters have a wonderful site, Ravelry.com, I have often mused that beaders should as well. Until then, I am following the Bead Soup participants I admired. Thank you again so much for your work in making that happen.

Feel better really fast, Lori - I know how much it sucks when you have things to do and can't find the energy to do them! So if I'm afraid of seed beads and mostly just use them as spacers, can I still be entered in the giveaway? :)
