Metal Magic with Stephanie Lee

If you happen to be near the Northern Virginia/DC Metro area, there's a great weekend retreat planned with the popular metalsmith Stephanie Lee of "Semiprecious Salvage" and Homesteaders Metalsmithing fame.

Stephanie will be teaching three different classes:

Junk Drawer Metalsmithing

Handbook of Elements

and
Pipe Dreams

I'm going to take the Junk Drawer Metalsmithing class, hoping to learn a few new tricks that I can add to my current style.  I like Stephanie Lee because her style of metalsmithing doesn't require anything more than what you can pretty much buy at Lowes, making it accessible to anyone.

If  you're interested, hurry and register -- I'd love to see you there and share some beads!

Lori Anderson creates jewelry for her web site, Lori Anderson Designs, and wrote the blog An Artist's Year Off.  She's also a contributor to Art Bead Scene.
