Sometimes when you have a rough day.....

You have to bring out the inspirational and the funny.

(do you see it?????)

(My favorite monster?  Gossamer the Monster from Bugs Bunny.)

"I did not ask to be a cold weather bird.  I asked to be a flamingo."

So. Much. Want.

I hope I made you nod your head, laugh out loud, muse a bit, giggle.

  4. You did! You did! That was great. Especially after my 3 hours of trying to make a very simple copy of 3 songs for a class I'm teaching.
    Love the word blocks!

  5. My favorite one is the "You do what you do. They do what they do." I've been having issues with comparing myself to other designers lately, and this is a perfect statement. Oh, and thanks for the comment about the banner!

  24. I'm new to your blog but I enjoyed the sayings you put together, particularly the one about making mistakes. I'm pretty good at blundering my way through life, but the bumps I've taken have been worth it!

  25. I lovethe monster spray. It's water with a fancy sticker, but it works for a large proportion of mankind- children. And who is more important?
If you can chase away monsters with water, I am sure that little penguin won't need much more to be turned into a flamingo. He should give it a go.
I found out that my magic potion, as lame and worn- out as it sounds, is love. To be loved by a bunch of very special people enables me to live up to challenges I never thought I could face. And I don't even have to put a sticker on it :)
My Mum and I have a motto... I am not in this world to live up to your expectations.
    It helps a lot.
Thanks for an inspiring post, Lori!
