  1. I'll keep thinking that as I'm driving to my mammogram appointment that I have been putting off for far too long. Thanks Lori it was just what I needed.

  13. Great words of wisdom. My mantra is "No Fear".
A dear friend who knows my story gave me a Kelly Rae Roberts Angel with "Leap Fearlessly" over her heart. She hangs on the wall in my office to remind me everyday I have nothing to fear, just go for it!!

  17. Too true. It is so easy to just sort of do a hedgehog, and only display the rough shell. Conquering your fears is so intimidating, even the smallest challenge seems overwhelming.
I've been putting off going downstairs to do the washing because I know there's some big, bad- @ss spiders down there.
It came to a point where I just got to disappointed and annoyed with myself that I forced myself to get my behind down there and do it. Boy, it took all day to do all the washing, and what I saw in that basement defies reason, trust me. Thing is, I have not yet been eaten by giant spiders and only had one nightmare all week, so it can't be all that bad.
    Felt bad, but wasn't.
Davinia mentioned a mammogram- THAT is big stuff. Most of our fears are daft, once we laughed in their faces. I guess they have their justification, but once faced, they are almost conquered. Because luckily, the worst usually does not happen. And if it does, hey, you most likely won't live to tell the tale! ;) (sorry, british humour)
