More Words of Wisdom and Encouragement

It's been a rough week (a really rough week) here in the "Studio de Lori" so here are some more words of wisdom and encouragement.  The only words I have right now are "sometimes you just have to fake it" but that one is failing me right now.  These are much better.

  1. Guess we're on the same page today. Only my post is a lot shorter.

  7. Things have been tough here at Summers Studio too. The words of wisdom are much appreciated. But the best part of my week is knowing that Zach is wanting his owl to be made into a necklace for his own personal reasons. It makes me smile and warms me to the bottoms of my feet. Not so easy to do right now while we are frozen including the pipes in my kitchen. Thanks for being you Lori.

  8. I like to remind myself that it's not going to be like this forever. Whatever "this" is. Try to do something little nice for yourself. ♥

  9. Lori - sorry your week is yucky - I'll send a prayer that it all stays confined to this week and does not spill into the next :-)

  19. I love the "fighting a battle" one and the "change it" quotes. I will definitely remember these for future reference.
You know, it may seem hard that most of us don't know each other, and don't know what is going on in our personal lives, but we are all here by the grace of God, and we have a mission....to love and encourage each other.
I can tell you what a tremendous difference you have made in my life, just by being who you are. Please accept the hugs and encouragement from all of us while you weather the storm.

  24. Hang in there, Lori. Every thing happens for a reason. But we don't always know what that reason is.

  26. I was really disappointed with the size of my paycheck from teaching this morning. Seriously depressed at how little teaching pays. These are great words--especially the one about change. I need to print that out and hang it above my desk. :D

  32. Lori,
Something I used over and over again when I was dealing with all of my husbands accident issues, was to remind myself that there was someone out there who had it worse. I didn't always want to believe it but forced the words past my lips over and over and it helped.

  33. Hang in there Lori...it can only get better, right?
