New Cup of Bead Soup -- EB Bead & Metal Works

This month's Cup of Bead Soup featured artist is EB Bead & Metal Works, a mother daughter team who make beads and pendants our of handmade lampwork glass beads and enameled copper.  They also make amazing enameled copper bowls and, as you will see, pottery.

EB Bead & Metal Works sent me two lovelies to work with this month -- an absolutely stunning enameled lotus pendant and a gorgeous set of lampwork beads.   But they also sent me a surprise -- a BOWL for my Cup of Soup!!!

I absolutely love how the bowl matches the pendant.  The pendant is an amazing work of art, and I'm going to have to really think hard about how to do it justice.

The beads are gorgeous as well.  At first I thought about working them into the necklace with the pendant, but now I'm thinking, maybe not, maybe two different pieces.  I keep going back and forth.

At any rate, I have my work cut out for me -- when handed something this beautiful, I'm really pushed to create something amazing.  Stay tuned!

What an amazing enamel pendant, and the beads are gorgeous too, what a challenge, can't wait to see your creation. If you want my opinion, I will go with two pieces, gives you more latitude to take it in two different directions.

The lampwork is spectacular but that pendant is completely over the moon. They cut that shape and then enamel it, no? Amazing.
