A Few Quick Notes

~ My guest post by Zachary -- he really did dictate all that to me.

~ I'm way behind on reading blogs so please forgive me for my tardy replies.

~ I'm suffering severe headaches again and have been having to spend half my days in bed the past couple of days.

~  Anyone know how to keep the new 20 pound cat from attacking the 7 pound cat?  He seems to think Max is a toy.

Night, all.

  8. So sorry to hear your headaches have you down - sending get-better-real-quick wishes.
Hmmm, cats seem to be establishing the new ranking. Maybe you need to impress the new cat with the fact that you do not approve of this behaviour - scold him, tell him NO and give him a bit of a shake. Although it is hard to tell - some cats are very sensitive to this, others are totally unimpressed.

  12. loved zackary's blog ..
hope those rotten headaches will be over soon.
    for the cats:
there are several calm aids available, some over the counter others require vet PX.
i like dr foster and smiths site.
but if the issue is really bad..and the calm aids not working..big kitty has to go into the time out room for a few days.
i have a Bad siamese..he had his own room for months..after several "back in the box" time outs he is now mostly fine with the other cat. the time out room was suggested to me by one of the rescue groups when i was about ready to pull my hair out over Bailey's badness.
