The Difference Between Like and Love

Today Zack marched into my office with a stern look on his face.

"I don't like you," he said.

Obviously, I was startled.

I said, "But *I* like you. I both like AND love you.  You know that, right?"

He said, "I still don't like you.  I want to replace my like with another love."

Wow. Mine once said stuff like that a long time ago. Enjoy it while you can. Now at 13 when she tells me she doesn't like me, I'm pretty sure that she's speaking the truth ;)

This is heartwarming. Can't wait until mine is starting to talk. Though she will be probably more of a "leave me alone mommy" type of girl.
