Your Door Is Ajar

Note to self....  When you get up at 5am to give the Kitty King his insulin shot, be SURE the refrigerator door is SHUT or not only will you no longer have any usable food left in said refrigerator, but you won't have to shell out another $106 on Kitty King insulin.

What a way to wake up from a nice sleep-in.

  1. Oh no how dreadful!!! Our dogs used to open the fridge door so we had to get special closures, they cleaned us out just before Christmas one year lol...

  2. Oh, poor Kitty King! I had a diabetic cat and had to dispense kitty insulin for several years, so I know your plight :)

  4. Oh No!!! I've lost a freezer full of food a couple years ago for doing just that very same thing. Quite an expensive mistake when you have to go purchase all that meat again :(

  5. Check the info on the insulin (no help for the food) since some human insulin can be stored up to a month at room temp.

  6. Oh you poor thing and that is pure love to get up so early to take care of your kitty. You must be a little like us. Our dogs are a bit like our children only I think maybe we spend more on vet bills than we did with the children on doc bills.

  8. Oh man, Lori. Sounds like you had a week like me playing nurse...although this is a way of life with your Kitty. So did he get into everything??

  9. Bummer! Surely cold food didn't spoil in a few hours though, maybe.

(I'm glad you got to sleep in though!)
