Um, no.
I'm a huge list-maker -- must be the OCD part of me, or the part of me that realizes that I have way too much stuff to do without a list to guide me.
So here is just a sample of my list for this week. It's by no means the full list, but just a taste.
1. Make 150 zipper pulls, with cards, for The Little Black Box. Repeat, with different product, for the next two months.
2. Make 25 pairs of larimar earrings, complete with cards and elegant packaging, for inclusion in swag bags for a celebrity event.3. Make scratch-offs for a fun promotion.
4. Make Halloween jewelry and post it on the web site before it's a moot point.
5. Take booth table toppers to be hemmed (as my sewing machine, of course, is missing a piece).
6. Put together everything for my class this week.
That's just the top six. There are about 30 more items on the list.
So yeah, it's great being self-employed. But I don't get nearly enough sleep!

I'm a list maker too, otherwise I will not remember anything. At work I always have a piece of paper in my pocket to write things down that I'll need to get to. Then I put the paper on my bathroom counter where I SOMETIMES check it.
I'd like to know more about that little black box thing. Will check out the website when I have time (better write that down.)
Welcome to Esmarts!
Oh my Gosh ~ celebrity swag bags. That is so cool Lori. Congrats on the opportunity.

Yes, being self-employed sounds so
"great" at first, till you realize that means you are all there is! Since I work on my jewelry business part time, I find it easy to come up with excuses to procrastinate and end up behind! I also read your recent post on photo---taking quality photos, cropping and editing, and then uploading, describing and listing a new item can take almost as long as creating it! ARG!

Hi Lori,
Can't wait to read more. Think I will peruse you prior posts. Seems to me I could learn a lot from you. Thanks for the opportunity.

Never heard of The Little Black Box. Looks similar to The Sampler: http://www.homeofthesampler.com/
Have you participated in The Little Black Box before? Seen good results? The Sampler is on my to-do list!
Your website is looking great! And don't forget, "can you watch my daughter for a few hours, since you are at home anyway"? Sure, can she use a torch?
