I just finished Anita Shreve's "Body Surfing". Rick introduced me to Shreve's work when we first started dating, and I've read everything she's written. With this book, she keeps to her formula of poignant tragedy, but what I liked was that the book centered on the same beach house that she wrote about in "The Pilot's Wife", "Fortune Rocks", and "Sea Glass". I feel like I know that house well, and wish like anything I had one like it!
I'm now reading Jefferey Deaver's "More Twisted Collected Stories Vol II". I love his stuff and love the horror/mystery/true crime genre, so it's right up my alley.
